I guess that is one of the defaults that didn't change back - I thought we had it so people could edit but not delete.</font><ul type="square">[*]<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That makes it impossible for someone to just delete a thread that they started, which affects other people's posts.</font>[*]<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It makes it a little harder to do the hissy fit thing.</font>
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'll change it back to edit but not delete.
I wish that we had our original 9-11 thread but someone had a hissy fit and deleted their starter post.

AL,
A few months back it was noticed that <s>the riff raff</s> members here couldn't edit their posts, even though that option was turned on. So by general consensus it was agreed that I should enable the edit/delete feature so folks could delete double posts and such.
Since you have the time machine, why not go back and retrieve the 9/11 thread? I missed it completely and would like to read it.

Jumper,
We need someone who is not a mod to post and then try to edit.
